① Rough adjustment
Loosen the four front nuts and the pressure plate of the tie rod to make the adjustment plate move backward. At this time, the rear end of the sprocket nut is tightly fixed on the rear pressure plate of the adjustment nut of the adjustment plate, thereby eliminating the gap between the sprocket nut and the rear pressure plate. At the same time, since the pressure plate of the front nut of the tie rod is loosened, the tie rod moves forward under the drive of the reaction force of the sprocket nut, and the gap between the front nut and the fixed plate will increase. After confirming that all four tie rods move forward (the gap between the four front nuts and the fixed plate increases), tighten the front nut with uniform force, press the front nut pressure plate, and complete the rough adjustment of the parallelism between the moving plate and the fixed plate. Then, after opening and closing the mold quickly many times, measure the distance between the four corners of the moving plate and the fixed plate in the state where the double toggle mechanism is fully extended, and calculate the parallelism.
② Fine adjustment
The method of fine adjustment is to adjust the position of the front nut individually according to the distance measured at the four corners of the moving plate and the fixed plate to improve the parallelism. The process of measurement and adjustment often needs to be repeated many times. During the fine adjustment process, special attention should be paid to the following two points:
First, perform precision measurement after the double elbow mechanism of the mold closing action is straightened. Damage to the mold adjustment mechanism of the blow molding machine mostly occurs when the injection molding machine is clamped at high pressure. The state of the double elbow mechanism of the mold closing action being straightened is closest to the state of the clamping. After the mold closing action, the mold adjustment nut is pressed against the mold adjustment plate by the reaction force of the forward movement of the movable platen, eliminating the gap between the mold adjustment nut and the mold adjustment platen, as well as the forward gap of each moving pair of the double elbow mechanism. It is more appropriate to use this as a reference for adjustment;
Second, use the rapid mold opening and closing function to move the movable platen and the adjusting platen, and adjust the posture of the mold opening and closing mechanism. The fixed platen, movable platen and adjusting platen of the mold opening and closing mechanism of the mechanical hydraulic injection molding machine are fixed to the horizontal bed by bolts, and the movable platen and adjusting platen are placed flat on the machine rails and can move forward and backward. Rapid mold opening and closing can automatically adjust the movable platen and the adjusting platen to the appropriate position, which is crucial for the adjustment of parallelism. Therefore, each time after adjusting the front nut, the mold should be opened and closed quickly several times to find the relative position of the three plates before measuring the parallelism.
